This is the most wonderful place to base yourself to explore the surrounding area….or just stay very local.

Beds firm but comfortable. Wifi works well. Great kitchen with all that you need to cook.

Air con + fan kept us warm for the long winters weekend.

Good supermarket about 10-12 minutes away, so stock up before you arrive. Local Superette for if you forget anything! Like i did! 🙃

Donkeys across the road are so cute! If you want to feed them they only eat carrots / sliver beet / apples.

Amazing Stay! exactly as described, the place was clean and tidy. Seemless check-in. So nice and relaxing looking out over the country setting. Wouldn’t even know the main house is there. Such a treat having fresh fijoas, tea, GOOD coffee, milk in the fridge and all the rest. Will be coming back! thanks so much for the stay!

Mike and Dianne’s place is beautiful. It is clean and has all the things that we need. The lawn is beautiful and the donkey farm next door is worth a visit!

The Barn has a beautiful, peaceful outlook over the garden and pond – a very relaxing place to stay. A great location with so much to explore nearby. Mike & Dianne were very responsive and helpful and the place was very well presented. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Mike and Dianne’s house. It is such a beautiful, relaxing and unique place to stay with loads of natural light. The gardens are gorgeous and the place is so private. Loved walking to the reserve across the road to see the donkeys with the kids. Would love to stay again when we visit the area again. Thanks to you both

Past Airbnb review September 2023: Had a lovely time! A comfortable, stylish space for our stay. Really enjoyed watching the sunset over drinks on the deck, and an easy walk through the donkey park to the beach! Also loved our lunch down the road at Brick Bay vineyard. Great bang for our buck, would love to stay here again next time we’re up.

Airbnb review 11th Sept 2023. A perfect place for a couple like us wanting a relaxed and comfortable weekend in a light, bright and airy house. It has a lovely private aspect facing west overlooking a sloping lawn studded with olive trees and a pond further down. It’s within a short walking distance to the lovely Algies Bay beach and nearby shops at Snells Beach. Mike and Diane were gracious hosts – close at hand and happy to help out. Comfortable bedding, spotless presentation with everything we needed – we will definitely be back!

Great location, right across the road from the donkey park which was a hit with the kids. And a short walk to the beach and playground. The space itself was private, modern and warm and the beds were very cozy and comfortable. The deck was perfect – it sits among olive trees and has a beautiful private outlook. The only suggestion we have is to buy a baby gate for the stairs.
